Passed peacefully away with her two daughters by her side at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, Geneva Stanley of George’s Brook-Milton, age 77 years. Predeceased by her husband Edward; parents Garfield and Gertrude Ivany; mothers-in-law Vera Best and Rebecca Stanley; father-in-law Ernest Stanley; brothers Albert Ivany, Robert Ivany and Wallace Ivany; sister Gladys Stanley; brothers-in-law Morris Chaffey and Herbert Stanley. Left to mourn with loving memories are her daughters Jeanette Strong (Donny) and Karen Strong (Kipp); grandchildren Craig (Dawn), Shera (Mitchell), Tiffany (Doug), Jennifer (Shannon), Jordan (Jodine) and Shane; great grandchildren Darcy, Logan (Hillary), Caitlin, Clare, Racheal, Kaleb, Seth, Liam, Ella, Aiden and Lily; great great granddaughter Nora; sisters Shirley Skiffington (Herb) and Florence Chaffey; sister-in-law Vera Rothberg (Robert); her aunts and uncles, many nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends.
Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Visitation 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, June 20 and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2024. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Fewer’s Memorial Chapel, Clarenville with interment to follow at Milton-George’s Brook Cemetery.
