Gary Wile
Wile, Gary Ralph – Age 61, Bible Hill. It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Gary Ralph Wile on November 2, 2024. He passed from a heart attack after spending a day working, and in true “Gary-style,” waited until the job was done.
Gary was a son of the late Murray and Mary (Caldwell) Wile. He leaves behind his wife and partner of 28 years, Doris (Morrison); daughters, Beth (Evan) and Barb; sister, Linda; brother, Scott (Lucy); parents-in-law, Gene and Ruth Morrison; brothers-in-law, Eric (Sharon) and Kenny (Donna); sister-in-law, Joan (Brian) along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by siblings, Christine, Janet, Dean, Howard and Terry.
Gary worked for Vintage Mouldings for the last 25 years, spending the last several years making deliveries all over the Maritimes where he met many people. Summer weekends were spent in Spencer’s Island where he made many good friends. He was proud to keep the woodshed full and ready for the campers. If you ever needed help or a job done, you only had to ask Gary, and he would be there! He will be missed by so many.
No funeral service by request. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9th from 1 – 3pm for family and friends in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, NS.
