BERGER, Garnet – Is it with great sadness the family of Garnet Kenneth Berger announce his passing on Monday, June 10, 2024 at the age of 77 years.
With a kind heart and a gentle soul, Garnet was predeceased by his wife June Margaret Berger (nee Hacket) and parents, Wesley & Esther Berger (nee Trolly). Garnet will be lovingly remembered by his brother Gilbert Berger (Sandy), niece Shelley Saunders (John), nephews Harold (Jennifer), Terry (Dawn), and Chris (Marsha), great-niece Sara, and great-nephews Cody, Dylan, Aaron, Mark, and Nicholas.
Forever grateful for the beloved friendship of June Anderson, Tony and Lisa Donnally, the late Billy Suckow, and friends at the Cedar Cove Apartments. The family would like to thank all the staff at The Pembroke Regional Hospital and Heritage Manor.
Respecting Garnet’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held at Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 7:00 -9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 9:30-10:45 a.m. follow by a Graveside Service at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Boundary Rd., Pembroke at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 72, Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
