Obituary of Gail Verdon
VERDON, Gail – Gail died at Afton Park Place, after a lengthy stay where she reported she was very happy and comfortable, on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late James Verdon (2009). Sister of Richard Titley. Aunt of Steven, Sean and Austin Titley. Sister-in-law of Dorothy Verdon. Predeceased by parents Richard and Helen Titley and brother Alan. Prior to retirement, Gail worked at Zellers and Just Kids. Gail’s bookstore, Twice Told Tales, on Wellington St., was her pride and joy and she remained open until she was hospitalized in July of ‘22. She greatly missed socializing with the customers and considered many of them her friends. At Gail’s request cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill. Arrangements entrusted to the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 519-344-3131.
