It is with sadness that we announce that our Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grand Father and Friend, Friedrich Arnold Ferdinand Cronjaeger passed peacefully away on December 07, 2024 at The Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission, British Columbia. We would like to thank the staff at the Hospice for the excellent care Dad received in his final days. Fritz was born on December 22 nd,1935 in Bremen Germany to Frederick and Freida Cronjaeger. Fritz immigrated to Canada in 1956 and settled in Hamilton, Ontario where he married and had four sons born. Upon moving west to British Columbia, he came to settle in Mission, BC for 35 years. He was a lover of the nature, an avid competitive cyclist, an obsessive antique toy collector and a proud German till the day he passed. He leaves behind his wife, his sons David, Gordie, Fritz, daughter Angie (Matt) and daughter in law Anita. Fritz is sadly predeceased by his sons Rick and John of Hamilton, Ontario as well daughter in law Pauline. He was the grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Dad also leaves behind family in Germany, cousin Walter Struckmeyer and friends Manfred, Sigrid and Katja Branich of Bremen. The family requests any donations to be made to the Christine Morrison Hospice of Mission, British Columbia.
