Freda was born October 27th 1923 in Binscarth Manitoba, Parent Tom and Margaret Fowler.
Freda had 3 siblings, Margurite (Marg) Tom (Melvin) and Eileen.
Freda started her education in Binscarth and continued in Harrowby and Foxwarren.
Freda met Reginald Goddard in Foxwaren Manitoba and were married in March of 1944.
Freda and Reg had two children Maureen and Grant.
Freda and Reg moved to Winnipeg in 1950 and resided there until 1979. During that time she was a long time loyal employee of Eatons of Canada and then Air Canada. While they lived in Winnipeg they enjoyed their time at their cottage at Oak Point Park in Killarney. There they met many life time friends and made lots of memories.
In 1979 they started the next chapter of their life and they retired and moved to Killarney. They traveled on many bus trips throughout Canada and the United States. They met many New friends and neighbors and were very active in the community. Freda was active in the Anglican Church and The Royal Canadian Legion. She also volunteered countless hours at Bayside helping with the activities program.
After Reg passed Freda moved into The Legion Plaza in 1996 which she was the first resident. Freda remained active with people in the Plaza and the Anglican Church and the Drop in Center.
In 2013 Freda moved to Bayside Personal care home in Killarney where she resided until she passed on October 1 2023, 26 days before her 100th Birthday,
Freda was predeceased by her Husband Reg and her daughter Maureen. She is survived by her Son Grant Goddard (Elaine) there Daughters Allison Goddard-Klatt (Chris) and Suzie Resler (Mark).
Son in Law George Freeman, his son Scott Freeman (Joann) and daughter Bonnie Senkbeil (Dale) and their families.
Freda will also be missed by her 11 great grandchildren.
