On Sunday February 25th, 2024, our beloved mother, “gramum”, daughter, sister, aunt and friend tragically passed away at 51 years old.
Francine was born on November 25th, 1972, in Vernon B.C to Clare and Joan Byron. She spent five years living in Mica Creek, before the family made their permanent move to Sicamous, B.C where she attended school at Parkview Elementary and graduated from Eagle River Secondary in 1990. After graduation she was signed to a modelling agency and moved to Japan to pursue her career as a high fashion model. A few years later at the age of 22, she welcomed her first daughter Raegen. In 1999 she welcomed her second daughter Hannah, and in 2002 her third daughter Cydney. Francine’s children and grandchildren were her pride and joy and she made sure the world knew that.
She enjoyed everything from interior decorating, to renovating and restoring. You could usually always find her with a hammer and nails in hand. Her garden was her happy place. Always lush and full of fresh produce, and the most beautiful and bright flowers.
Francine was the definition of a free spirit. She was lively, confident, luminous, bold, and daring. She exuded warmth and light that will be extremely missed.
She is survived by her mother Joan Byron. Her daughters Raegen (Jorden), Hannah, and Cydney. Her grandchildren Kennedy, Avery, and Jase. Her sisters Coleen, Renee, Christina, and Debby. And all her nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father Clare Byron, Brothers Warren and Kerry, and her sister Cheryl.
