VENTRIGLIA, Francesco (Frank)
Passed away peacefully at the age of 81 surrounded by loved ones.
Survived by his wife Maria of 56 years. Respected father to Laura (Kevin Lang) and Ralph (Angela). He was an adored Nonno to his Bella’s Kiara and Maya Lily, and Bello Adrian, and bonus grandfather to big boy Justin, who cherished every moment spent together.
Frank will be sadly missed by his sisters Raffaelina Capriata (late Joe) of Inglewood and Sistina Versace (Franco) of Italy. Fondly remembered brother-in-law to Elvira Bloye, Corina and Bob Kirby, Sam and Teresa Pucci, Tony and Gina Pucci, Rita and John Rosset, and Giselle and Andrew Watson.
Son of the late Raffaele and Felicetta Ventriglia and son-in-law to the late Santo and Caterina Pucci.
Beloved uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Retired Algoma Steel employee Frank enjoyed spending time in his garden and loved sharing the fruits of his labor to family and friends.
He was always working in his garage, fixing up cars, doing bodywork or using his welding and mechanical skills making one-of-a-kind creations.
Frank also enjoyed making and sharing his superb salami, wine, and other homemade delicacies.
Family and friends are invited to O’Sullivan Funeral Home on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 11:00am-1:00pm.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Diabetes Canada or The Kidney Foundation. Payable by cheque.
