Francesca Mazzulla passed away peacefully in the hospital on December 9, 2024, at the age of 93, with her loving family by her side. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Mario, and will be deeply missed by her children: Maria (Frank), Carmen, Pina (Ben), Anna (Aldo), Liliana, Laura, and Lucy.
She was a proud and devoted Nonna to Elvira (Tony), Francesca (Sam), David (Michelle), Adrianna, Vito (Amanda), Mario (Ghadeer), Vittoria (Ian), Vittoria (Ted), Jennifer (Danny), Marcus, Ascenza, and Joseph, as well as her cherished great-grandchildren: Sofia, Massimo, Simona, Luca, Anthony, Nicolas, Adrian, Isabella, Matthew, Marco, and Diana.
Francesca’s greatest love was her family and nothing brought her more joy than gathering everyone together to share home-cooked meals. A passionate cook, she shared her treasured recipes, passing down her love for cooking through tomato sauce and sausage making, as well as traditional Italian dishes and desserts, to her children and grandchildren. These moments of love, laughter and shared meals remain a cherished memory of her spirit.
Francesca will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives and friends. Her warmth, generosity, sense of humour and love will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration.
