February 26, 2023
Fran Demerino was born on September 26, 1944, to Rosa and Bill Wills in Sault Ste. Marie, one of 7 children. It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn her passing peacefully in her 79th year on February 26, 2023, at the Milton District Hospital.
Fran will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her loving family. Husband Don Hancock and his children Tina, Melissa and Greg and grandchildren Jackson, Nicolas, Jayden, Ava, Phoebe and Piers; Sons Tom and Chris Demerino; Daughter-in-law Kelly Demerino; grandchildren Mason and Claire Demerino plus her sisters Esther, Rose, and Liz. She was predeceased by her son Dan, brother Bill and sisters Dorothy and Ethel.
Fran lived a full life and when not reading one of her favourite books, enjoyed spending time with family, travelling or having quiet times with her loving husband Don. Her strength and determination, love of family and desire to always make everyone’s life better, was admired by everyone. She had many friends in her retirement home and will be missed by all the residents and staff at Seasons in Milton.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer Society, Salvation Army, or the Milton District Hospital Foundation.
