Fook Keung Joseph Lam (71) passed away peacefully on October 19, 2023, with his children lovingly by his side.
He was born on March 23, 1952 in Guangzhou, China. He was brought up in Hong Kong and immigrated to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in 1982.
Joseph is survived by his daughter, Ann-Marie Lam, Kelly Lam and son, Andrew Lam.
Joseph was hardworking, innovative, techie, and had a wonderful sense of humour. He loved learning new things, loved knowledge, was generous, humble, brave, honest, responsible, thoughtful, and wise. He was an electrical technician by trade, was a business owner, and self-taught himself all about computers and new technology as they were released.
He will be remembered for the love he had for his children, his quirky humour, all the technology he brought into his home, his dedication to provide for his family, and his hardworking spirit.
As his health began to deteriorate, he remained light-hearted, funny, calm, and full of faith. When his time came, he showed confidence in Jesus’ promise that he was freely given the gift of salvation, and will return to Heaven with his Maker.
He will be missed dearly.
It was Joseph’s request to have no funeral service. A cremation service will be carried out by his children: Annie, Kelly, & Andrew.
