It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Filippo Perrelli on November 27th, 2024, at the age of 84. Beloved husband to his loving wife, Nella (nee Muraca) for over 56 years, and loving father to Agatha and Robert Licatalosi, and Ignazio and Nicolette Perrelli. Cherished grandfather «Nanuzzo» to Amelia, Christina, Joseph, Lucas, and Siena. Loving brother to Maria (Late Francesco) Ciardullo, Antonio (Josie) Perrelli, Ines (Luigi) Beltrano, Silvana (Robert) Corsini. Predeceased by his parents Agata (nee Bozzo) and Ignazio Perrelli, and brother Luciano. Dear son-in-law to Marietta and the late Stano Muraca. Filippo will be dearly missed by his brother and sister in-laws, nieces and nephews, friends and extended family in Canada, Italy, and the United States.
He had a gentle and kind natured personality and a great appreciation for the little things in life, tending to his garden, sharing food with family and keeping his traditions alive at the Donnici Social club, where he was a committee member. Filippo will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Visitation will take place at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, on Tuesday December 3 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, 11 Wilson Street West, Ancaster on Wednesday December 4 at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
