Passed away on November 8th at the age of 86. Survived by his wife of 55 years Joyce nee. Piccinin.
Loving Father to Bill (Jackie) Mazzoni, Barb (David) Guthrie, and Monica (Jeff) Taylor.
Cherished Nonno to Adam, Luke, Gloria, Thomas, James, Brenna, and Dora.
Beloved brother in law to Mary Lou (Joe) Haddad and Mario (Linda) Piccinin.
Predeceased by his parents and siblings in Argentina and Italy.
Loving Zio to Rachel, Andrew, Matthew and Angela.
Long time family friend of the Skope family.
Fernando will be remembered as a valued employee and friend of Joe Santarossa and family where he worked as a diesel mechanic for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Fogolar Furlan Hunters Club. He also enjoyed visiting the Casino.
Special thank you to Dr. Petrinac, Dr. Pan and Dr. Freeman for their care and compassion. Also thank you to VON and the PSWs who were very caring and helpful.
Donations may be made to The Sacred Heart – Building Fund or Canadian Cancer Society in his memory. Visitation on Wednesday November 13, 2024 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm at Families First, 2130 Front Rd. LaSalle, 519-969-5841. On Thursday November 14, 2024 family and friends are welcome to gather at Sacred Heart Church (1425 Divine St. LaSalle) for a funeral mass at 10:30am.
