It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announces the passing of Fernand Vallée, on May 12, 2024 at the age of 94 years at the Timmins and District Hospital, surrounded by his loving wife and family.
Loving and devoted husband to Anita (born Morin) for the past 69 years, dear father of Joanne Trochimchuk (Frederick), Rita Collin (Gilbert), Charles Vallée and Roger Morin.
Cherished grandfather to Shawn Regan (Lynne Skinner) , Chad Regan (Melissa), Patrick Collin, Jason Collin (Alissa), Sara Penchion (Kevin), Korine Vallée, Nathalie Ellis (Shane).
Dear great-grandfather to Delaney Regan (Hunter Burke), Madison Regan, Kennedy Regan, Jersey Regan, Taylor Regan, Kiera Penchion, Tessa Penchion, Dryden Ellis and Callum Ellis. Great-great-grandfather to Hudson Burke
Loving brother to Rolande Desrochers and beloved uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his father Pascal Vallée, his mother Corine Larante, his sister Simone Legault, his brothers Paul Vallée, Gerard Vallée and Roland Vallée.
Fern’s love knew no bounds and his commitment to his family never wavered, making him a pillar of strength and a role model for those fortunate enough to have him in their lives.
He took great pride in spending time with all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Fern was a man who set a lasting impression on everyone he met. His deep laugh and dad jokes warmed a room. He enjoyed with great kindness to do volunteer work for his hometown of Foleyet, ON. When Fern retired he had a passion for building furniture, and created a special piece for every one of his grandchildren. He loved wood work, working outdoors and traveling the world with his wife Anita. Fern and Anita enjoyed trips together in their RV and traveled around from Mexico east to west, across the U.S, 3 Islands and 4 cruises. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Fern, and his advice and guidance will forever continue in our lives through the joys and challenges that life has to offer.
The family will receive family and friends at the church for a service and a celebration of life at a later date in the hometown of Fern in Foleyet, ON
