At the Cornwall Hospice on Monday, January 9, 2023. Joseph Fernand Latreille of Alexandria; age 89 years. Loving father of Francine Latreille and Danielle Viau. Cherished grandfather of Roger Latreille (Melissa), Christian Latreille-Theorêt (Jessica), Tanya Viau, Sonya Viau and Ashley Viau and great-grandfather of Angelica and Alecksy Latreille, Joshua Viau-Hellicker, Zachary Viau and Tiffany Cameron. Predeceased by his parents Omer and Claudette Latreille (née Vaillancourt). He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 6 – 9 PM and on Tuesday from 9 – 10 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan’s Basilica on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 10:30 AM. Spring Interment in St. Catherine of Sienna Cemetery, Greenfield. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to Charity of your Choice would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Fernand, a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows – memories live.
