Baker, Everett William- 95, passed away November 11, 2024 in Harbourview Lodge, Sheet Harbour. Born in Liscomb, January 14, 1929 he was a son of the late Wilfred and Hanna (Rudolph) Baker. Everett worked in construction and as the blacksmith in Sherbrooke Village until his retirement. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge for many years. Everett is survived by his first wife Mary Fanning, sons; Everett, New Glasgow, Roy, Spruce Grove, Alberta, daughter; Kristy, New Glasgow, step-children; Elizabeth Lowe, Windsor, Reg Russell, Sheet Harbour, Gayle Churchill, Port Dufferin, Janet Carver, Necum Teuch, Richard Russell, Sheet Harbour, Rob Russell, Enfield, many grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He was predeceased by his second wife Irene Russell-Baker (nee Blades), step-son Roger Russell, step- grandchild Benjamin Carver and his brother Wilfred Baker. Cremation has taken place; a burial will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to St. James United Church, Sheet Harbour or Harbourview Lodge, Sheet Harbour.
