After a long and beautiful life, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, May 2, 2024, in her one hundred and second year. Devoted wife and best friend of the late Nathan Kalichman (Kelly) for sixty-nine years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Carol and Marty Sulsky, Howard and Kathy, Peter and Lori. Adored “Grandma” of Nic and Lori Sulsky, Alex Sulsky; Carly, and Jessica Kalichman; David, Jacob, Sophie and Daniel Kalichman. Proud great-grandmother of Ava Sulsky. Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Phillis and the late Albert Freedin, the late Ben and the late Lee Romm, the late Marion Segal; and sister-in-law of Syd and Rose Kalichman, the late Bella and the late Bernard Glatt, the late Goldie and the late Eugene Eisenberg, the late Sam and the late Ruthie Kalichman. Evelyn will be fondly remembered by her many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. Heartfelt gratitude to Rona Romel for her love and devotion and to the wonderful staff of Westmount One – her home for the past eighteen years. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Sunday May 5 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Jewish Assistance Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O.
