It is with much sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden death of Ethan Jeffrey Liston of Woodstock at the Upper River Valley Hospital at the age of 20.
Survived by the love of his life Breanna Williams, his parents Jeff and Virginia Liston, his sister Emma and brother in law Brendan Byram, his brother Ryan, his Grammy Sheryl Grant, his Grammy Janet and Pappy Dana Kaye, his uncle Paul and aunt Kasey Kaye (cousins Jordan and Hunter), his aunt Jenny Liston and Ben Atherton, cousin Jacob Sproul (Dominique and Iyla) Janelle Sproul (Mason and Evelyn), Jessica Calhoun and Jack Calhoun, and his in-laws Nick Williams and Summer Demerchant. He’s also survived by great Grammys, great aunts and uncles, and many cousins who loved him dearly.
Today we would like to celebrate the life of Ethan Jeffery Liston. This beautiful soul was born on November 5th, 2002, in Fredericton NB.
He resided in Woodstock NB for his 20 years of life, bringing joy into the lives of his friends and family.
His favorite pastimes included listening to music, wheeling and fishing alongside his faithful canine companion, Willow. Golf and pool were also on his list of favorite activities. He was such a lover of animals. His kitties and pet hamster held a special place in his heart. He loved to fabricate and carve things, fully content with a buck knife and a stick. He enjoyed the outdoors and everything nature had to offer.
He adored his family. He also loved his fiancé Brianna enormously. He talked about marrying her all the time.
He was the kindest, most caring, genuine individual. He would do absolutely anything for you. He had an infectious laugh, a witty sense of humour and a heart of gold.
A piece of us is gone. We will never be the same. He will remain in our hearts forever.
