God called, Esther Adele Davis (née Batson), home at the age of 82. Born in Haggatts, St. Andrew, Barbados on August 20th, 1941, and passed away at Burton Manor Long Term Care, Brampton, Ontario, on October 2nd, 2023. She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband, Llewellyn, as well as her parents, Cameron and Geraldine. Esther will be forever missed by her children, Angela (Rocky), Roger (Linda), June (Nana) and Trevor (Heather). Adored by her brothers, Carlton (Mavis), Earl (Victorine) and Elmo. Dear sister to Beverley and Rosalind. Cherished always by her grandchildren, Marcus (Ashley), Kenyah (Seyi), Olivia, Zahra and Tanya. Beloved aunt to Leticia, Sonia, Wilson, St. Elmo, Debra Ann, Lesley, André and Michelle and to the many great-nieces and nephews. Loved dearly by her great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Neweduk- Erin Mills Chapel, 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga on Tuesday, October 10th, from 6 – 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 11th, from 10 – 11 a.m. at Portico Church, 1814 Barbertown Rd, Mississauga. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Interment at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens to follow. The Davis family invites everyone to a time of fellowship and refreshments to the Portico Church Hall immediately following the interment. Donations in Esther’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Peel.
