Ernest Frederick Alexander Obituary
The family announce the passing of Ernest F. Alexander on Thursday, January 11th, 2024 at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre at the age of 72 years.
Ernest was a man who enjoyed taking his grandsons hunting and fishing. His main enjoyment was operating Heavy Equipment and he also loved building things with his hands. Ernie loved to joke around and make people happy.
He leaves to mourn with many loving memories: sons: Maurice (Catherine) Alexander and Loran (Sam) Alexander; grandchildren: Austin, Mark (Kristy), and Steven; great grandchildren: Charlotte, Dakota, Jaxon, Elliana, and Emerson; as well as a large circle of brothers, sister, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
Ernest was predeceased by: ex-wife Genevieve Alexander King; and two grandsons: Thomas Lee Belvin and Loren Rideout.
Following his wishes cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 17th at 10:00 AM from Assumption Parish, Stephenville Crossing. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Brook Street.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre for looking after Ernie so well.
