August 15, 2023
Passed away after a brief illness on August 15th, 2023 at Credit Valley Hospital at the age of 42. Dearly missed by her common law spouse, James-Robert Burey, and her sister Michaelle McTeer. Predeceased by her parents, Rhonda and Keith McTeer. Erin will be missed by her extended family, friends and coworkers.
Erin loved watching the Toronto Blue Jays, reading books from her book collection; her favourite being Harry Potter, and going to see movies. She was a faithful and dedicated worker at RBC Insurance, working in the travel and life insurance department. She truly loved her job and the people she worked with. She also loved cruises, her most recent being a Caribbean cruise with her family.
The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses from the ICU department at Credit Valley Memorial Hospital for the care they showed to Erin during her stay.
A memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, August 26th from 1-4pm at Bay Gardens Funeral Home (1010 Botanical Drive). At a later date, Erin will be laid to rest with her parents at Malloch Road Cemetery in Arnprior, ON. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Trillium Health Partners Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be shared to Erin’s tribute page at www.baygardens.ca
