Eric Tracy Brown, was born on June 24, 1966. He was born in Highland Park, Michigan, but passed away on January 15, 2024 at the age of 57. Eric’s parents were not contacted until June 25, 2024.
Eric Tracy Brown is survived by Eric Brown (father), Joyce Brown (mother), and Marie E. Brown (sister). He had many aunts, cousins, and a host of friends.
Tracy attended school at Atkinson Elementary, East Bethlehem Lutheran and Osborn High in Detroit, MI. The Brown Family then moved to Canada in January 1982. In Canada he attended Lowe Tech High and Kennedy Collegiate High. Eric Tracy was also considered to be self-taught, due to his high intellect, his scientific knowledge and IQ scores.
Eric Tracy was always in the kitchen wherever he went. Cooking was his first passion. He would create new and interesting cuisines. He would also throw things in one pot and make a great goulash. He loved to eat just as much as he loved to cook. His grandpa Tracy also shared his love of cooking and eating.
Eric Tracy’s 2nd love was his dogs. He was walking with his dogs all through the streets of Detroit visiting his cousins and friends. Tracy also played basketball, and enjoyed swimming, along with track and field.
In his adult life he rode bikes all across Detroit’s Metro Area. He purchased many exclusively designed road bikes. He could ride over 20 miles in a day. It didn’t matter if it was rain, shine, sleet, or snow he might ride up on you. He loved his family reunions.
Tracy also enjoyed his fast cars even though he never had a real driver’s license. Tracy loved to travel from a very young age. Most of that came due to him wanting to eat at all the buffets worldwide. He could eat three plates of food, run around the building and eat some more along with desserts.
Tracy loved to write poetry and write all genres of music. He invested in E&B Production which included being a disc jockey at times.
He loved being on his parent’s boat and many other water activities. He even saved his aunts lives during some water events at the park.
Tracy could make you laugh, and some people he made them cry. His cousin’s called him “Big Tracy” especially when they wanted his tall stature to intimidate others. He would fight for his family and friends if needed.
Eric Tracy was baptized, and accepted Jesus Christ, as his personal savior. Tracy had many prayer ministries praying for him in his life’s journey. Tracy will be missed by many family and friends all over.
On Friday July 5th, 2024 Visitation will take place from 12pm – 1:30pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:30pm all at Families First South Windsor (3260 Dougall Ave. Windsor Ontario, 519 969 5841). Procession to Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Old Castle, Ontario to follow, where Eric Tracy will be buried by his grandmother (Highgate).
