Eric Curt Quist – October 8th, 1965 – July 25, 2023
With sadness, we announce the passing of Eric Quist on July 25, 2023. Eric was the son of the late Edward and Beverly Quist, the older brother of Kirsten GraceQuist (Michael GraceQuist) and Blaine Quist. Uncle of Quinten, Kevin, Mackenzie Gracequist, and Kelli Goulais.
Eric grew up in Sturgeon Falls and attended Northern Secondary School where he participated and excelled in high school football and hockey. Eric also loved bodybuilding and weightlifting, all sports, art and music. In his mid-20s Eric was diagnosed and struggled with Mental illness Schizophrenia and moved to North Bay where he lived independently with the support of the Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT).
Eric will be remembered as a very generous, loving and gentle man with a good sense of humour. The family would like to thank all of the people that were kind to Eric when they saw him in North Bay and supported him over the years including the psychiatric physicians with the North Bay Regional Health Centre and caring people with the North Bay ACTT2.
