Emma Lee Arwood – age 79 of Corryton moved to her heavenly home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly. She loved to watch football and go fishing.
Preceded in death by her loving husband, Early Arwood; parents Roy and Thelma Patterson; and sister, Wanda Harness.
She leaves behind sons, Rick ton of Coalfield, Brian ton of Corryton, Deidre Arwood Rose, and Donnie Arwood; grandchildren, Ricky ton, Maresa Tinker, Veronica Rush, April Humphrey; great grandchildren, Aidan ton, Bella Tinker, David Humphrey, Xandria Davalin, Daveena Davalin, Emarosa Roberts, Stephanie Wayman, and Brad Murphy; sisters, Shirley Burgess of Coalfield and Rebecca Arwood of Coalfield; special friend, Mildred Beason; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 12:00-2:00 PM Monday, February 13, 2023, at Bridges Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM with Pastor Eddie Seals officiating.
