Elsie Thompson entered into rest peacefully at home on Saturday, August 19 2023 in her 98th year. Elsie Brass was the beloved wife of the late Franklin Thompson. Loving mother of Ron and Karen Thompson, Patricia Munro and Jay Pertak, Linda and Mike Wood, Bill and Donna Thompson, Rick Thompson, Lori Thompson, Dan Thompson and Diane Breau, Jane and Wade Woodward and Chris Thompson. Cherished grandmother of 34 Grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way. Predeceased by her infant son Frankie, grandson Kirk Thompson and great granddaughter Katrina Munro, also brother Victor Brass and son-in-law Barry Munro. Visitation will be held at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay Street North on Tuesday, August 29 from 9:30am till time of service at 12:30pm. Interment to follow at South Valentia Cemetery. If desired memorial donations to the Kawartha Lakes Food Source or the Kawartha Lakes Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
