Ellen Ardena King, 94 years of age, of Roseway Manor, formally of Newellton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at the Roseway Hospital.
Born in Newellton, she was a daughter of the late Lowell & Jessie (Cunningham) Newell.
Ellen loved the outdoors and was a beautiful cook.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Gail Nickerson and son, Lonnie King. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George King, a grandson, Shane, sisters, Marion & Lillian; brothers, Judah, Marshall, Foreman & Herbert.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. No visitation or service by request.
