Ella Nina Stoodley
Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Center in Harbour Breton on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, Ella Nina Stoodley, age 94, of Harbour Breton, NL.
Ella leaves to mourn her loving family: daughter, Linda Hunt at Harbour Breton; sons, Sidney (Margaret), Wayne (Ellen) and Eric (Vera), all at Harbour Breton; daughter in law, Gertie Stoodley at St. John’s; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren; sister, Ivy Collier at Port aux Basques; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ella was predeceased by her husband, Gordon; sister, Winnie Prior; brothers in law, Leo Strowbridge and Russell Strowbridge; son in law, Andrew Hunt; great great granddaughter, Averee; as well as other relatives.
Visitation will be held at Spencer’s Funeral Home at Harbour Breton on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 7-9pm and on Thursday, June 6 from 2-4pm and from 7-9 pm.
Funeral service will be held at St. Bartholomew’s Church at Harbour Breton on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 2:00pm with Rev. Jonathan Durdle officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Breton.
