House, Ella May – Gone from our arms, but still held in our hearts. It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved May Spence House. May left this world on Thursday, January 11th, surrounded by her loving family. With her departure, we have lost an extraordinary individual who brought an irreplaceable warmth and joy to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by children, Kirk House (Louise) and Shirley Mood (Almond); grandchildren, Kenda (Dennis), Katrina (Daniel), Kalinda, Graydon (Jessica), Kira, and Lee; great grandchildren, Luke, Brooke, Hannah, Kaylie, Blake, Kami, Aven, Kali, Jaxon, Brody, Spencer, and Denver. Joining them in mourning are her brother, Sam Spence (Phylis); sister, Norma Goodland as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was a source of love and inspiration to all who knew her. May is predeceased by her baby son, Scott; husband, Martin House; parents, Olga and Robert Spence; brothers, Lyman, Donald, Kenneth, Robert, William, and Bruce; sisters, Laura, and Stella. May had an unbreakable bond with her late parents, siblings, as well as her son, and she is now reunited with them and will hold her baby again in eternal peace. May was a true beacon of positivity. Her vibrant personality and zest for life were contagious. She had an uncanny ability to make everyone around her feel special, loved, and appreciated. Whether through her infectious laughter, compassionate nature, or gentle smile, she had an innate gift of brightening even the darkest of days. May was known for her impeccable cleanliness, quilting talents, and her love of watching hockey games. She took great pride in her work and was renowned for her delicious meat buns and traditional Sunday Jiggs Dinners. May shared her life with Shirley and Almond, and brought immense joy to her grandchildren through card games, Nintendo, and bingo. She also imparted her knowledge of the game crib to her beloved grandkids. May’s legacy will always be remembered. May’s memorable presence extended beyond her immediate family, reaching her extended family, friends, and acquaintances from all corners of the globe. Her influence was far-reaching, and the impact she made on each person’s life she touched will forever be treasured. May’s legacy of love and light will forever remain in our hearts. She taught us the importance of cherishing every moment, embracing adventure, and finding joy in even the smallest details of life. Although she may no longer be physically present, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire all those fortunate enough to have shared a part of their lives by her side. During her final days, May was comforted by the compassion, care, and support of the dedicated medical staff who tirelessly attended to her needs. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to these professionals for providing comfort during her journey. As we bid farewell to our beloved May, let us remember her as a glowing and radiant soul, forever embedded in our memories and forever treasured in our hearts. May she rest in eternal peace knowing the indelible mark she left on our lives.
