Obituary of Elizabeth Boston
It comes with great sadness to announce the passing of Betty on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the FJ Davey Home. She is survived by her beloved husband Robert Charles “Bob”, her son Murray (Valerie), daughter Norma (John), and predeceased by her son David. Proud grandmother of Michael (Kaley), Melissa (Spiros), Cameron, and Great Grandmother of Elisavet. Daughter of the late William and Wilhemina Murray. Predeceased by her sister Peggy (Roy), and her brother William (Esther). Sister-in-law of Arlene (late Randy), late Ray (Bonnie), and the late Ken. Daughter-in-law of the late Red and the late Vi Boston.
She was born in Montreal on January 8, 1934. Betty struggled with dementia during the remaining years of her life but was constantly reminded of the fond memories of the past while carrying a great concern for her family, whom she loved.
Mom will be laid to rest with her son David in a private family service officiated by Mrs. Helen Smith. Memorial donations in her memory would be greatly appreciated to the Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie or to the charity of your choice.
A profound thank you to Norma for the years of patience, dedication, and loving care that she provided during our mother’s health crisis.
