Elizabeth’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of our beloved Mame and Grand-Mère. Elizabeth (Maillet) Pothier, aged 91 of Saint Martin was born in Meteghan Station (Bangor) to the late Elizabeth “Lizzie” and Albénie Maillet.
She is survived by her children, Cecile Pothier-Comeau of Saulnierville, Lottie Pothier of Meteghan, Paul (Sandra), Alan, and James, all of Saint Martin; grandchildren, Cheryl, Jacques, Elise, Patrick; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Octavia, Owen, Adam; sister-in-law, Elise Maillet of la Villa Acadienne. She was predeceased by her husband, Elie and was the last of her siblings.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Meteghan Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held in Stella Maris Church, Meteghan on Thursday, August 22nd at 11 a.m. with Rev. Wieslaw Papuga officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
