Elizabeth «Elsie» Huk
On August 30, 2024, Elsie Huk of Edmonton passed away at the age of 90 years. Elsie was born on September 3, 1933 and lived all of her life in Edmonton.
Elsie is survived by her daughter, Karen (Robert); her son-in-law, Roman; her grandchildren, Evan (Nicole) and Elyse (Matt); and her sister, June Proznik. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter; her daughter, Lorna Huhlewych; her parents, Mike and Mary Koska; her sister, Angela Fasenko; and her brother, Ted Koska.
Special thanks to Gail Wacko and Cathy Kowalski who helped Mom in her final days.
Funeral Service Saturday, September 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue with interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to St. Basil Ukrainian Catholic Church, 7007 – 109 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T6H 3B9.
