Elizabeth «Betty» or «Libby»
Keddy, of Alberta, passed away and went to be with her Lord and
husband, Jim. Born in Nictaux, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of
James C. Vidito and Corella D. Ernst Vidito. Betty was a loving wife
to James, Mother to Kim Keddy, Pam (Don) Hill, Moosebrook and Robert
(Betty) Keddy, Coldbrook. Betty loved any time spent with her husband,
Jim, and they both enjoyed being and working together. Whether it was
managing the Berwick Bruins hockey team or raising poultry in Weston,
they did it together. Betty also was the first chairperson of the
Berwick Gala Day Princesses, Girl Guide leader, Sunday School teacher
and Hospital Auxiliary member. Betty is predeceased by eight brothers,
five sisters and a grandson. She was the last surviving member of her
family. Betty is survived by her three children, seven grandchildren
and three great grandchildren. Special thanks to my daughter, Kim, for
her care and support. As per Betty’s wishes, there will be
no funeral service. A private graveside service will be held at a
later date. Donations in memory of Betty may be made to the Kidney
