It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother Eleanor Jessie Small on Monday February 12, 2024, in her 86th year. Predeceased by both her beloved husband Glenn Small, and her partner William Nemeth. Cherished and loving mother to Karen (Robert), and Kevin (Dalia). Predeceased by son Kenneth (Darlene). Proud Grandmother to John/Jack (Debbie), and Sara (Brett). Great Nan to Logan, Aiden, and Owen.
She will be sadly missed by her only living sibling Gordon Young (Reta), and her many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers Jim, John, Donny, and Ed, and sisters Helen, Mary, and Agnes. Our mother was very fortunate to have very loving relationship with all her in-laws Kathleen, Marilyn, Mae, Bob, John, Joe, and Fred.
Born and raised in Kincardine, Ontario, surrounded by a very large family, she then moved to Hamilton in the 50’s to raise her own family. She worked most of her life in various places, but mostly enjoyed her years working with her son Kevin at Frosty’s Fish and Chips.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Circle of Life Cremation and Burial Centre Inc, 100 King Street East, Dundas, on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Celebration of Life on Saturday February 17, from 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. (additional parking at the Air Force Club). Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
