Obituary of Elaine Alice Rice
RICE, Elaine Alice.
Passed away peacefully, on February 18, 2024, at 77 years of age at the Guelph General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late James “Jim” Rice. Loving mother of Lorna (Ardel) of Michigan and Jamie (Michelle Pepper) of Guelph. Proud Nan of Tyson (Rebecca), Averie (Shawn Twine), Haily (Michael Hill), Griffin, Kennedy, Hunter, Neelan, Naya, Neve and Naveen. Special Great Nan to Forrest, Bronson, Lily, Ivie, Austin, Owen and Logan. Elaine will be sadly missed by her sister Jeanne Kuntz (the late John). Predeceased by her sister Donna Gaudette (the late John). Elaine was the owner of Jim-L Plumbing. In years past she was very involved at the Legion, from the kitchen staff/ cook to women’s auxiliary, secretary, executive, track & field to name a few.
The Rice family will receive relatives and friends at the Brombal Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
