Eileen Patricia Brown (nee Rogers) passed away peacefully on September 3, 2024 at Trinity Village in her 93rd year.
Eileen is predeceased by her beloved husband of 47 years, George Joseph Brown.
Loving mother of Geoffrey (Janice) Brown, Carolyn Brown, and Janice (Jeff) Dowling. Eileen is the best Nana to LeeAnne (Kyle), Jennifer (Travis), Bradley (Courtney), Eric (Tylor), Liam and Conor. She was blessed to be «Granny» to Oliver, Annika, Sawyer, Parker, Clementine, and Charlie. Survived by her sister Gerry, and brother in law, Murray Merrett. Predeceased by parents, Daniel Rogers and Anne Maher, her brother, Philip Rogers, sister in law Angela Rogers, sister Margaret Daly, sister Brenda Kannon and brother in law, Joe Kannon. Eileen will be greatly missed by her cousins in Northern Ireland and many nieces and nephews across Canada.
Eileen’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Monday, September 9th, 2024 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Anthony Daniel RC Church on September 10th, 2024 at 10:00 AM with the burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery. A light reception will be held in the Parish Life Centre. Those unable to attend the Mass are invited to join the family virtually at www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St Vincent de Paul Society- St. Anthony Daniel, or Trinity Village Care Centre (Oakridge floor), Kitchener, Ontario would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
Special thanks to all Eileen’s caregivers on Oakridge at Trinity Village. She was blessed to have great care for 3 years while she resided there, along with her end of life care which was provided with such care, love and dignity
