It is with heavy hearts, and a lifetime of memories, that the family of Edwin Fry announces his passing on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the age of 91.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 63 years, Elizabeth; his much-loved children Anne, Brian (Cathy), David (Lynn), and Sharron; his grandchildren Alyssa (Taylor), Vanessa, Olivia, Renee, and Eric. Dear brother of Lanny Jones (Jack), the late Doug Fry (Irene), the late John Fry (Elsie), the late Keith Fry (Sylvia), and the late Jessie Norrie (Bob). Dear brother-in-law of George Neil (Julaine), Mary Mann (John), and Margaret
Todoroff (the late Jerry).
Edwin was a member of Jarvis Street Baptist Church, and a graduate of Toronto Baptist Seminary. Until his last days on earth, even during his suffering health, he continued to sing God’s praises and was dedicated to sharing the path to Christ. We know that he is with the Lord now and continues to praise Him. Although we mourn our loss of Edwin in this life, we rejoice in the Lord that we will meet again one day.
“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.” (John 11:25-26)
