1934-2024
Following a brief illness, Edwin Joseph Ouellette of Perth-Andover,
NB, passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on July
17, 2024.
Edwin was born in Drummond, NB, on October 11, 1934. He was the son of
the late Arthur J. and Sadie (Walker) Ouellette. Edwin leaves behind
his loving wife, Margaret Wright (Davenport); his daughters, Brenda
Lee of Hartford, CT, Madonna Ouellette of Bristol, CT, and Amanda
Ouellette (fiancé James Kinney) of Perth-Andover, NB; his son,
Stephen Ouellette of Sylvan Lake, AB; eight grandchildren and several
great grandchildren; Margaret’s children, Deborah Watson of Edmonton,
AB, Louise Graham of Elliott Lake, ON, Dana Wright of Whitby, ON,
Terry Drinkel of Oshawa, ON, and Annie Johnson of Gagetown, NB; his
special nephew, Ivan (Cathy) Beaulieu of Jacksonville, NB; and his
special family friend, Rose Hamilton of Perth-Andover, NB.
Edwin was predeceased by his parents; his former partner, Lavada
Johnston; his sisters, Rachel Theriault, Laurette Beaulieu, Anne Marie
Gendreau, Rebecca Durepos, Laurine Leclair, and Clair Ouellette; his
brothers, Phillip, Conrad, Camille Ouellette.
Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Monday, July 22,
2024 from 1-2 pm with a funeral service to follow at 2 pm. Rev. Todd
McGuire officiating. Interment will be in St-Michel Catholic Cemetery
in Drummond, NB, at a later date.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society
or the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the
family.
