Obituary
Edward James Parsons (Born June 18, 1959) passed away in July, 2023 at home in Stephenville, Newfoundland, aged 64 years. He leaves to mourn his most pride and joy his son: Edward Parsons (Jolene); two brothers: Winston Parsons (Lisa) and Allan Parsons; three sisters: Marcella Rogers (Jim), Cindy Cochrane (Gerard) and Gloria Jean White along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents: Edward Parsons and Irene Parsons (Seymour) of Stephenville and brother-in-law Bob White.
Edward was born and raised in Stephenville Newfoundland where he spent all of his life living. He has tried many career paths in his life but his main passion for work was Electronics repair. Most recently he was employed at the CO-OP in Stephenville where he was well loved as a grocery clerk and in the meat room. A special thank you to his CO-OP family.
He enjoyed the outdoor lifestyle with passions for hunting, fishing and camping. He was always wanting to go on that next moose hunt. He would also always be up for Salmon or trout fishing.
Following his wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 4th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 5th at 2:00 PM from St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, Hillview Avenue. Interment to follow at Hillside Interfaith Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
