It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Edward «Eddy Joe» Edwards of Lawn announces his passing. Eddy Joe passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, NL on Monday, August 19, 2024 at the age of 91.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife, Myra of 42 years; children, Ex (Connie) of Lawn, Joy (Paul) of Lawn, Janet (Stephen) of Abbotsford, BC, Rhonda of St. John’s, Trent (Krista) of Paradise, Tina (Lloyd) of Lawn and Natasha (Jimmy) of Lord’s Cove; 16 grandchildren, Savannah, Krystle, Paula, Cassandra, Violet, Christina, Taylor, Michelle, Ryan, Jenna-Mary, Coady, Roy, Makenzie, Chan, Adrianna and Riley; 2 great-grandsons, Logan and Grayson; sister, Lorraine (Jim) of Lawn, special niences, Joyce and Carolyn; special nephews, Colin and Jim; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Eddy Joe was predeceased by his parents, Edward & Esther Edwards; brothers, Herb, Frank, Anthony and William; sisters, Georgina, Kathleen, Veronica and Susanna; step-sisters, Helena and Johanna; son-in-law, Ronnie and niece, Thelma Edwards.
Our family and this world have lost a beautiful soul with an amazing personality and a huge heart. His presence will be missed here on earth but will certainly be felt in Heaven.
Fly with the angels, we will forever miss you.
The Family will be accepting visitors at Holy Name of Jesus R.C. Church, Lawn on:

9:30am – 1pm
A funeral mass will take place at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Lawn on:
Friday, August 23, 2024 at 2pm
Inurnment to follow at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Cemetery, Lawn.
In Edward’s memory donations may be made to The Family or flowers gratefully accepted.
