It is with broken hearts, that we announce the peaceful passing of our cherished father, brother and Nonno, Eduardo Consoli, on December 30th at the age of 83, surrounded by his loving family.
Loving father of Cathy Serafini (John), Pat, Theresa Capretta (Fred). He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Marco, Christina, Vanessa, Stefano and Luca. Also missed by Sabrino Palumbo. Reunited in heaven with his parents Pasquale and Caterina Consoli, his brothers Francesco(Angela), Pietro, Saverio(Maria) and Alfredo(Rosa). Survived by brothers Antonio(Ida) and Angelo(Dora), sister-in-law Carolina, along with many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy.
Eduardo was a kind hearted, caring father to his children and very hardworking to provide for his family and always making sure he took time out to take his children to their various activities. He was a quiet man of few words. His greatest pleasure was to be with family, especially his special grandchildren, who brought him such pride. He enjoyed gardening, music and watching his favourite team Roma, play soccer. He especially enjoyed going to watch his grandchildren play soccer, making sure never to miss a game. His favourite past times were meeting his friends at the mall for tea and conversation and going to the Regina Social Club, where he loved to play cards.
A special thank you to Dr. Corsini, Dr. Castelluzzo, Dr. Perez, Dr. Lewis, Joanne and Dr Faurrato for their compassion and care.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 3rd from 8 am to 10 am at Bay Gardens, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton, with a funeral mass to follow January 3rd, 11am at Annunciation of our Lord, 280 Limeridge Rd, West, Hamilton. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canadian Diabetes, Hamilton City Kids. Online condolences at www.baygardens.ca.
Even though you are no longer with us, you left us with many treasured memories to hold on to.
