Obituary of Ed Johnson
Ed “The Old Hippie” Johnson passed away peacefully at Strathroy Middle General Hospital on August 29, 2024, in his 81st year. Cherished best friend and husband of the late Louise “Flower” Johnson (2022). Beloved father to Wes, Mamie, Becky (Jason) and Karla (Nelson). Doting Papa to Meghan (Gage), Issac, Tristan and Jacob, and Great Papa to Ryder. Loving son to the late John and Mary Johnson, and brother to Margaret, John, Barbara, Tom, Bob and Alan.
Having nearly 59 years of marriage together, filled with love, laughter and many adventures, Hippie and Flower, may you continue dancing and holding hands for all eternity.
Hippie said he was ready to «hit the road» and as per his wishes, a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
