E. Roberta Wrigglesworth, wife of John Wrigglesworth for 62 years passed away at the age of 96 on January 6, 2024 in Kitchener ON.
Roberta was Mother of Edward (Elaine) and Deborah . Grandmother of Callie (Andrew Sammynaiken), Erin (Ryan Cunningham), Laura (Landon Adam), & Joshua. Great Grandmother of Emmy Sammynaiken. Predeceased by her father Weymouth & mother Florence Gaudry, sister Sylvia Gaudry & Elsie Caverly (Ted) & by brother Harold Gaudry, Victor Gaudry & sister-in-law Vera.
Roberta was born in Greenfield Park QC and moved to Toronto in 1960 to work at CNR telegraph. She married John in 1961and moved to Milton ON and there they raised their family. They move to Kitchener in 2001. Over twenty plus years, they ran several square dance clubs.
They enjoyed thirty years of dancing from coast to coast as members of the Toronto & District Square Dance Association.
Family and Friends are welcome to gather at the McKersie & Early Funeral Home, 114 Main St.E., Milton (905) 878-4452 on Friday January 12, 2024 from 1-2pm, followed by a Chapel Service at 2pm. All are welcome for a Reception at the Funeral Home following the service.
Donations in honor of Roberta can be made to the Grand River Hospital Foundation, which would be appreciated by the family.
