It is with deep sadness that we announce Edith’s peaceful
passing at her residence on January 11, 2023 surrounded by the
love of her family. Beloved wife of John for 66 years. Loving
mother of Harvey, Tim, Kevin (Amanda) and Barbara (Jason).
Cherished Oma to Nathan, Owen, Jacob and Ethan.
Predeceased by her Parents Edmund Schulz and Frieda Schulz
(nee Brendal). She is survived by her sister Tabea Bonn (late
Armin) and by her sister in-law Martha Schulz (late Oswald).
Tante Edith will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews
and all the people that knew her.
On June 10, 1936, in Konary, Poland, God blessed this earth with
the birth of Edith. She later immigrated to Canada in 1950 with
her family. Edith had a warm, beautiful smile for everyone she
met. She was outstandingly kind, caring and loving, always giving
of her time to help others. Her dedication to organizations like the
March of Dimes was extraordinary, but Edith was a very humble
person and would shy away from any recognition for her efforts.
As a founding member of the German Full Gospel Church in Port
Colborne, which is now Christian Life Assembly, her faith in God
was a pillar of her life.
The Kehl family will receive friends at the ARMSTRONG
FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port
Colborne on Sunday from 2 – 4 p.m. Funeral Service will be held
on Monday January 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.at Christian Life
Assembly, 484 Barrick Road Port Colborne. Interment will follow
at Overholt Cemetery, Bethel.

Assembly or the Ontario Bethel Park Bible Camp Society
