Edith Bell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our mother Edith Julia Bell on March 20, 2024, at Shuswap Lake General Hospital in Salmon Arm, BC. She was born is Macklin Saskatchewan on March 7, 1932.
Edith left her mark in many people’s lives whether it was with the many people she worked with, her family, friends, or neighbours.
She travelled with dad to many different states and everywhere between Alaska and Mexico, befriending many people that she kept in touch with. She treasured all her friends and family near and far.
Edith leaves behind her loving family.
Her sons Randy (Linda) Bell of Barriere, BC and Dwayne (Valerie) Bell of Enderby, BC; her daughters, Cheryl (Blair) Keehn of Salmon Arm, BC, Brenda Sharp and Jack Drydyk of Salmon Arm, BC, and Heather (Rob) Southam of Kelowna, BC; her son in law Wayne Senger of Enderby, BC, and two daughter in laws Darlene Bell of Lacombe, AB and Elda Bell of Red Deer, AB; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She also leaves 1 brother Don (Gladys) Horutko and 2 sisters Doreen Selvias of Lacombe, AB and Sharon (Ron) Jenkins of Kamloops, BC.
Edith was predeceased by her parents Norman and Eva Horutko; her first husband Lawrence; her Daughter Darlene Sengar; her second husband Ken Bell; two sons Dale and Terry Bell; 1 Granddaughter TerriLynne Justus-Bell; 1 great granddaughter Kristen Stunzi; 3 brothers, Jack, Francic and Ken Horutko and one sister Elizabeth Gorday.
There will be a Celebration of Life on April 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Broadview E Free Church 350 30th St NE Salmon Arm.
