Edgar Bragg
December 16, 1941 – April 15, 2024
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Edgar Bragg announce his peaceful passing at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre, Port aux Basques. Edgar was the son of the late Josephine Bragg Kendell and stepson of Issac Kendell. He was also predeceased by his grandmother, Ethel Bragg, his Uncle Charlie Bragg, brothers in law; Ernest Hilliard, Frank Collier and Alec AuQuinn, and last but certainly not least, his good fishing buddy Dormen Hulan.
He leaves to mourn, with loving memories, his sister Selina (Hubert) Anderson, brother Ivan, nephew and niece, Hubert (Kely), and Jolene (Hilary), and a very special little boy James. His sisters; Eva, Geraldine and Linda. His brothers; Russel (Mary), Tom (Audrey) and two special cousins, Chester and Joey.
Edgar spent his life on the ocean as a fisherman and enjoyed a good turr hunt with his good friend Dorman.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 17th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home, 57 Grand Bay Road, Port aux Basques, NL. There will also be visitation on Thursday, April 18th at 11am to 1 pm, with funeral Service to follow at 2 pm at Holy Spirit Anglican Church, officiated by Rev. Ken Abbott. Flowers are graciously accept and donations can be made in Edgar’s memory to the Holy Spirit Anglican Church.
