Earl Douglas Plant – WWII Veteran, Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Sunday August 20, 2023 at the age of 97. Earl was the loving husband of the late Ellen “June” Plant (Donaghy) for over 67 years. Loving father of Sharon and son-in-law Dave Nash and the late Richard Plant. Proud grandad of Owen and great-grandfather of Taylor and Brinley. Earl will be deeply missed by all family and friends. I want to thank all the staff for the loving care they gave him at Kawartha Lakes Retirement Residence in Bobcaygeon. He made so many friends with the staff and residents.
Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
