Dustin Edward Crich, age 34, of Clinton, passed away on April 16, 2024. Born on December 4, 1989, Dustin is the son of Lloyd Crich & Bev Wood of Clinton and Cindy Renner-Jones & Dustin Jones of Alberta. Survived by his sister Shaylan Crich (Jeremy), step-siblings Stephanie (Dylan), Shawna (Kevin) & Brandon (Becka), Grandfather Ted Crich, Aunts and Uncles Lloyd Hoy (Carol), Dianne McKenzie (Gary), Debbie Hall, David Renner (Judy), Hope McGregor, (Glenn), Crystal Oesch (Jeff), Alfie Taylor, Jim Hoy,Bill & Barb Hoy.
Predeceased by Grandmother Virginia Crich, “GP” Grandma Patricia Morgan, Grandpa Percy Renner and Aunts Faith Taylor, and Barb Hoy.
Forever loved and remembered by his cousins Amanda & Aimee McKenzie, Launa Elliot (Jeff), Tricia Robinson (Adam), Cassie Crawford (Nate), Caitlyn Cybulski (Colin), Brooke Forbes (Jason), Whitney Taylor, Jesse Lobb (Katherine), Mathew Lobb (Jessica), Cody Lobb (Ashley), Curtis Lobb (Krista), Jordyn Oesch (Martin),Taylor Oesch, Hellena Baechler (Matt), Brenda Knapp, Cordell (Michaela), Austin, Rochelle, Jamie Hoy, Darryl, Brooklyn, and Mya Hall. Dustin also leaves behind his best friend of 11 years, his loyal dog Lexi.
Dustin’s smile lit up a room. He was a happy go lucky guy with a distinct and contagious giggle. Everywhere he went he brought his sense of humour, charm and big heart. A hard worker known to many as ‘The Milk Man’ and then ‘The Bread Man’, Dustin was simply ‘The Man’. Taking much pride in his job, nobody could load a truck faster than Dustin. He enjoyed working hard along side his Dad, chatting with their customers and making them laugh. They were an unrehearsed orchestra.
Dustin had a love for sports. Throughout his life he enjoyed playing hockey and baseball and was a member of the RGA golf group. With a lifelong fandom of the Detroit Red Wings and Nascar driver Jeff Gordon, Dustin was also a supporter of the soccer club Manchester City.
During high school, Dustin would often take his friends for rides in his Cadillac. Sitting way down low in the driver seat with rap or metal music cranked over his custom installed speakers. Attending Fanshawe College for Photography, Dustin has taken countless photographs for friends and family over the years that will always be cherished. During Dustin’s second year of college one of his photos was published in a magazine.
The love Dustin shared with his cousins was extended to his cousin’s children as well. Being a ‘fun uncle’ of sorts, he adored the next generation of the family and they adored him right back. Dustin treated everyone equally, he could connect with either an 8 year old or an 80 year old with ease. He always left a lasting impression with everyone he met.
Dustin and his Aunt Faith had a special bond, often referring to her as his second Mom. We find comfort knowing that Dustin is now with his Aunt Faith, his GP, Grandma Virginia who were all very proud of him.
Though Dustin may no longer be with us, he lives on in the memories and hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. May we carry forward his love, kindness, compassion and giggles. Forever honouring his life with our laughter.
