Drake Dillon Obituary
With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Drake Dylan-Dayton Dillon on June 20th 2024. Drake spent most of his younger years on Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation where he loved to hunt and fish. When he got older he found joy in travelling a lot as well. As an adult he was rarely in one area for long and spent a lot of time exploring new places. He was also raised by his chapan Isabelle Ben who loved him dearly. She had a special place in her heart for Drake and he so loved his chapan.
Drake is survived by his mother Gloria Johnson (Clifford Ben) and father Dwight Dillon; his siblings Nikki Ben (children Icyland and Creesin), and Teagan Ben; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Drake is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Agnes Johnson and Fred Bearboy; his paternal grandparents Alvin Dillon and Flora Ben, his beloved chapan Isabelle Ben, and numerous aunts and uncles.
The wake for Drake will start at 6:00pm on Tuesday June 25, 2024 and will be held at the Simon and Alma Kytwayhat Community Hall on Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation, SK. The service for Drake will begin at 11:00am on Thursday June 27, 2024 and will also be held at the Simon and Alma Kytwayhat Community Hall on Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation, SK with burial to follow at Makwa Sahgaiehcan cemetery.
