HUBBLE, Douglas Percival (Long Time Welder/Millwright CGE) At Hospice Peterborough after a brief illness on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 87th year. Doug, beloved husband of the late Helen Hoey (d. 1998) and his late companion Gwen Tripp (d. 2016). Loving and devoted father of Shawn (Jan), Sandra Rowland (Michael), Jeff (Tracy), and Doug (Colleen). Loving Grandfather of Adam(Raylene) Carli(Neil),Joshua( Zoe), Robert, Kira, Patrick, Daniel, Emerson, Duncan, Callum , and Great Grandfather of Nevaeh and Fergus. Dear brother of Garnet (Pat), Cliff (Sheila), Joanne Walsh (Greg), Stuart (Roberta), and the late Lloyd Hubble (Carol). Son of the late Ernest Hubble and Annis (Sucee).
An avid fan of Country Music, gardening and the occasional butter tart, Doug cherished the good times spent with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Doug’s Memorial Service in the Chapel of Highland Park Funeral Centre on Saturday, February24th, 2024 at 11:00am followed by a reception in the Highland Reception Centre. Private family interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery. In his memory, memorial donations to Hospice Peterborough would be appreciated by his family.
