Douglas Bell Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Summit Place on Sunday, November 3, 2024. Born in Culross Township on April 29, 1931, Douglas David Bell of Owen Sound, was in his 94th year.
Beloved husband of the late Bessie Bell (nee McCabe). Loving father of the late Timothy Bell (Sharon), Tracy Bell of Sarnia and David Bell (Christine) of Owen Sound. Cherished grandpa of Christopher, Daniel, Keegan, Tyler and Courtney. Doug had many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Predeceased by his parents David and Winnifred Bell.
Doug enjoyed a hardworking career as a Hy-Hoe operator in the construction industry until his retirement. He spent his final years in Summit Place, where he enjoyed watching You Tube and the playful banter with the staff.
In keeping with Doug’s wishes, cremation is taking place. Private arrangements are entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
